Throughout the week starting from November 18, the Municipality of Prrenjas conducted a series of activities in the framework of the European Days of Local Solidarity, among which the main ones were developed in collaboration with the high school students of “Ahmet Elezi” in the Administrative Unit of Stavraj as well as those of the “Arif Kuka” high school in the administrative unit of Qukës.
Among the main topics where the participants focused these activities, coordinated by the European Integration Unit of the Municipality of Prrenjas, were "Environmental protection and urban waste cleaning", accompanied with different sport activities.
In total more than 350 students have been engaged in the development of these awareness activities, where the students have done praiseworthy work in clearing the Shkumbini River, clearing residential areas in the administrative unit of Stavraj, etc.
The week's activities were also combined with cultural and sports activities, such as a drawing competition on environmental protection, or a volleyball and soccer championship event between schools.
